Plockton, Highland is a picturesque little town on the shores of Loch Carron.

There are unlimited walking opportunities within a 30 minute drive from Plockton, but there are also good walks to be made from the village itself, including the (essential) brae walk, the lochside walk to Duncraig Castle, and the hike up to the television mast. Plockton has several shops where you may buy gifts or convenience items. There are also several spectacular restaurants. They are well known for their fresh local seafood. There is even a seafood cruise available, and the food is great.
